Shipments: Shipments of orders will be made in whole or part contingent upon our stock on hand. Normal freight charges are applied to both original and backordered shipments. A shipment becomes the property of the consignee when accepted by the carrier (except for UPS shipments) and our responsibility ceases at that time. Claims for loss or damage in shipment should be ﬁled with the carrier. UPS claims should be made directly to us within 15 days of shipments.

Special Orders: Special Orders of non-stock items are made at the customer’s request (certain minimums apply) and a 50% deposit may be required. Special ordered items are not returnable. All items must comply with manufacturer’s terms of sale and are subject to any charges for alterations or cancellations of the order. Shipping dates on special ordered items are based on the factory’s standard lead-time, but cannot be guaranteed, nor can any estimate be considered legally binding. Freight will be charged.

Orders: We reserve the right to reject all or any part of any order that may not be acceptable to us.

Returned Goods: ALL RETURNED GOODS REQUIRE ADVANCE RETURN AUTHORIZATION. Manufacturers’ defective goods are returnable within thirty (30) days from date of invoice, excluding electrical items, unless otherwise speciﬁed. Credit will not be issued on merchandise not listed in the current catalog, purchased more than six (6) months prior, or is out of original packaging or has price tickets afﬁxed. We are not responsible for unauthorized returns. All other returns will not be acknowledged. A 20% restocking charge, plus any freight costs, will be charged for goods ordered in error by the customer. All items must be in original factory packaging with no price tickets afﬁxed. All defective electrical and mechanical access products are repaired or replaced at the manufacturers’ option.

Warranties: Christy Commercial Hardware is a distributor and does not manufacture products. All product warranties for products sold by Christy Commercial Hardware are provided solely by the product manufacturer. Copies of these warranties are available upon request or by contacting the manufacturer warranty department. The manufacturer’s warranties are the sole and exclusive warranties given and are in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Christy Commercial Hardware hereby excludes and disclaims any and all warranties or indemnities of any nature, other than the manufacturer’s warranties, including, but not limited to any implied warranty or merchantability or implied warranty of ﬁtness for a particular purpose. Under no condition shall consequential, special or incidental damages of any description be asserted against Christy Commercial Hardware as a result of any alleged or actual damage resulting in any manner from the products sold by Christy Commercial Hardware or for any acts which are beyond the control of Christy Commercial Hardware. Any and all remedies with regard to product defects shall reside solely with the manufacturer of the product. For all purposes, Christy Commercial Hardware shall be considered a “product seller”.
